SYNOPSIS

Caribou Records is the story of James William Guercio’s maverick recording studio tucked away in the wilds of the Colorado mountains, a place that inspired the work of such rock ‘n’ roll luminaries as Elton John, Billy Joel, Chicago, The Beach Boys, Joe Walsh, Jerry Lee Lewis, Supertramp, John Lennon and Michael Jackson.  Caribou Records will feature an ensemble cast of actors and musicians. At the young age of 22 Guercio, a successful music producer, culled together all of his money and bought a ranch.  At first what seemed like a crazy idea turned to a pot of gold… Gold records, many of them recorded high atop The Rockies… It was more than The Rocky Mountain Way; it was the Jim Guercio way.
